After reading my last post I think the answer is pretty clear.

Australia needs to start reducing the amount of imported cars that compete directly with Holden and charge the imported cars a higher tax bracket and give the Australian car manufacturers a clear advantage over the imported cars.

Australia has done this before with fast-food chains TV stations and airlines, so I cannot see a reason why they cannot do it here.

It's not like the Germans are buying Holden's or the Koreans or in fact any other country is buying Holden at the rate that we buy their cars we should have the right to reduce or even maybe ban imported cars.

The BMWs and the Audis are currently dominating the market that directly competes with a Holden club sport, but if we double their taxes. I bet you more people will be buying club sports over Audis or BMW.
