If you are a Business owner it is a good idea to get your Credit Rating Report checked at least once every year.
When we print out the Reports of Business owners it can quite often take up several pages. A major problem is that Creditors are very quick to place Default notices on your Credit Report, but very slow to remove them if the Bill has been paid. In many cases Creditors simply forget to remove the listing, or even worse, cannot be bothered ! This is why you need a Third Party professional organisation to go into bat for you to clear up your Credit Rating from all unfair listings.

Whenever you apply for Credit or a Home Loan or any type of Finance, your Credit Report is checked.
We regularly ask Clients if they are aware of any Default listings on their Credit Report, to which most people respond with No.
However, when we print out the Credit Report the Client is usually shocked and angry at what they see. Quite often there are listings on their Credit Report which have been unfairly placed, and have not been removed even though they have been paid.

Your Credit Rating determines your ability to be approved for Credit. Most people are unaware of the new 5 Day Rule . Previously if you were 60 days late a Default listing would be placed on your Credit Report , now the legislation has been changed to 5 days . Now if you are 5 days late with a payment, a Not Made listing is made on your Credit Report. This will be implemented in March, 2014 but is retrospective to December, 2010. This means 5 day late payments going back to December, 2010 will now effect your Credit Rating.
